The Holtzbrinck School of Journalism is Germany’s training ground for modern business and finance journalism. Since 1988, we have been educating and training 200 journalists, working for leading German and Swiss newspapers and magazines, including Handelsblatt, Wirtschaftswoche, Die ZEIT, Der Spiegel, and Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
The School is owned and operated by Handelsblatt Publishing Group (www.vhb.de), Germany's leading business publisher and part of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group (www.holtzbrinck.com). Founded by Dieter von Holtzbrinck and Ferdinand Simoneit, the School has evolved as the training ground for Germany’s leading business daily Handelsblatt (www.handelsblatt.com ) Germany’s leading business weekly WirtschaftsWoche (www.wiwo.de), and the monthly Junge Karriere (www.karriere.de).
In addition, the School trains TV journalists for n-tv (www.n-tv.de), a German TV news channel owned by RTL Group. We are about to open the School to other quality partners, in Germany and world-wide.
